Local Walks

Wootton Courtenay offers a wonderful selection of diverse and varied walks. The village nestles between Wootton Common with Great Headon Plantation and Periton Plantation to the North.  To the South West are spectacular walks through the hamlet of Brockwell and climbing up over Robin How to reach Dunkery Beacon, the highest point on Exmoor.

Croydon Hill and Grabbist lie to the East offering views across to Wales and along the coastline towards Burnham-on-Sea.

The Vale of Porlock lies to the West with beautiful Moors, wooded valleys and rocky coastline all to be enjoyed and savoured.
